hi there. good to see you 'round these parts! i (finally!) emailed you -- last week or so). did you get that? no rush on responding (especially given my own lateness in sending), but wanted to make sure it made its way to you.

your garden sounds wonderful, like something out of a storybook.

Yup I just got it! I will answer soon. Exciting to think about the trip (now if I can just get my mom to confirm that she will stay with the kids!). Still getting into the at home with no guests groove;-)

I've got a few close friends (hippies in fact) that live on the edge of Kerrville, TX, in the Hill Country. Visiting them is sooooo great, I get to do things like smoke killer weed and talk conspiracy theories and listen to 8-track tapes of Roky Erickson all night and then skinnydip in the Guadalupe River in the morning. That's a real vacation for ya.

We were, I think, one town over from Kerrville. We walked down a road to an herb farm and passed a sign pointing there....

It was a wonderful respite from life away from all the people I care about. I've still got a letter in my notebook for you to be finished.

I plan to take Before and After pics of the area I'm going to put the garden into. I never do that and wish later I had...this time no regrets!;-)
