:O I had no idea that was a thing! Interesting. (Not hating, just surprised. Also surprised there would be hate considering their ship just sunk on both ends.)

Yeaaaah...It's so easy to not be an asshole and not tag your hate on Tumblr, but nope. People want to engage in the wank. My favorite (I use that word sarcastically) is still when people hate on the wives/children of Jared, Jensen and Misha and then tag it. It takes a special brand of asshole to say nasty things about real people who they don't even know and who have done nothing to deserve it.

Yup. On Tumblr and Twitter, there have been people that have said (in the case of Twitter, directly tweeting to Gen and Danneel) that they hoped Thomas died or that Danneel's going to miscarry. Really shameful and gross.

Apparently Naruto shipping has become SRSZ BUSINESS. I guess I'm just surprised to find so much hate there right now. Didn't really think the Naruto fandom was like that. MY BAD.

I think it's some law of the internet that once a fandom gets to be of a certain size, shipping is SRS BSNSS and flamewars must commence.

Naruto shipping has always been srs bznz, especially in terms of NaruSasu vs SasuSaku vs NaruSaku. I honestly thought it had simmered down but then I haven't participated in that fandom for some time.

I've participated in some form or fashion of ship wars in the past, but honestly it's just silly. My taking umbridge is when people insist a ship is canon when it's really just popular fanon.
