I take a mood enhancer called 5-HTP (it's made from griffonia bean extract) when I'm stressed or afflicted with maladies of the female variety. I find it works very well. You just have to make sure you take it with food and start with small doses (I normally take 25 mg twice a day). Anyway, I forgot to do that once, even though it clearly says to do both on the label, and it made me dizzy for a couple hours.

Also, for helping your immune system, Echinacea tea really seems to work for me. I like the Traditional Medicinals Echinacea Plus the best.

Vitamin D works for me, but that was after I consulted a doctor and she suggested I get my levels up.

Iron supplements here, but for the same reasons as crystaltear, the doctor said so. That one week a month was nuking me. I've considered Vitamin D too, as my numbers were low and I'm not out in the sun much.

That would probably help your energy too.

Bananas (when I can stand them) always helped me perk up and ward off headaches (Potassium). Make sure you're snacking every couple of hours on stuff that will fill you: granola bars (Nature Valley are my favorite), fruit (apples, bananas), nuts, trail mix, etc. I've been really off these last two days at work and I realized it was because I've missed my morning snack.
