Tonks grinned as the owl dropped the equipment and the letter, and took him to the Owlery so he could have a bit of rest (and food, etc.) before he had to head back - carrying just a letter, so it should end up easier than the way there.
The note made her grin, and she sat down to quill her answer soon enough.
Bill,
That does sound like a fun idea, how about, oh, Friday? Probably like evening for us, it would be early afternoon for you - if you're not at school or anything, of course. If so, we can do it on Saturday.
I'm sorry to learn it's been a rough ride; but besides hard to resist, bouncy Harry can really cheer one up - I hope we, and the exercise, help with that.
And thank you, yes, making sure bones don't get broken is much better than mending them. But I already knew you are a clever young man. I'll make sure we have both when we appear; and - if there is something else necessary, let me know, I'll be sure to get it for us him too. Let me know where to apparate the two of us, besides the day
( ... )
Bill gratefully pet Hank and gave him water and treats. There are few trusty than a good Owl.
Tonks, I suspect you're right, exercise and your company will be a great distraction. If you want to learn too I'll get you some gear. I suspected you had the ability already but I could be wrong!
Determination and perserverance are a good thing, though, be proud!
Friday works or Saturday, Harry even mentioned something about the full moon, if its better to wait til after that, that's okay too. It's chilly here so bring extra sweatshirts and make sure Harry has extra socks.
By the return owl from Bill? Well, Harry Al wasn't the only one excited.
Bill,
I'll bring my own gear. I'm mostly supposed to be there to observe just as any good mum - but you can't really keep me away from any adventure.
I think Friday'll be better... Unless Harry's feeling down because of the full moon by then - but I doubt he'll let that stop him. And it's still far away enough. And of course, if it works, we can make a second lesson AFTER Wednesday!
Gotcha, it's been mild here, thanks for the reminder! We'll be equipped.
Glad to hear you'll be joining the event with us! I bet you make any adventure better. The second lesson sounds great! You can never ride the board too much really. I'm glad to hear the helmet fits and tickled to know that you have skateboarding gear!! That's so very cool, Tonks. Harry must brag to all his other little buddies about how his mother is the coolest mother ever.
