Rita looked up from her menu and nodded. "Actually I have, sorry it took so long." Rita had arrived earlier by floo and was planning on spending the rest of the break at school. She would head up there after she had some lunch. "I would like a mince pie please." Rita waited for Rosie to say something. She looked down at the table not saying what was on her mind and even though she wondered what Rosie was thinking and how she was doing, she was unable to voice her concern. Not my place anymore.

Rosie faltered a little. She couldn't have chosen any other place to go. "Right. Mince Pie...any thing to drink. Special's are on the board." She pointed behind her. "We've got in special spiced apple cider that's not bad." She added, not sure why she did. Just being a good waitress.

"That sounds lovely, thank you." Rita folded and handed the menu to Rosie without saying anything else. As much as she wanted to say something she didn't want to cause a scene or upset the other girl. I will say something before I leave. I am not ready, I need to plan what I will say.

Rosie sighed taking the menu, and making a note on her pad she turned towards the kitchen and headed behind the bar putting the order through the window. Pouring Rita's drink, Rosie picked up the checks for two of her other tables and dropped the drink without a word to Rita and presenting the tables with the other checks.

Josh in the back called Rosie and she went in to the kitchen. After a moment she emerged and was frowning. Just her luck. She headed back to Rita's table. "There um...out of MincePie...did you want something else?" She asked handing Rita the menu again.
