Jenn, meet Cheryl. Jenn is a grad student at UCLA, and alumni of Occidental, who studied at UEA for a semester in my first year, and lived in Waveney. Cheryl is a native San Franciscan/ Suckramentan who, for reasons and motives beyond my understanding, chose to do her entire degree, at ridiculous expense, at UEA. Both have the same amused, detached but angry interest in the state of American politics. Cheryl is drunk more often than Jenn. Jenn is more ethnically interesting than Cheryl.
