I could moan for a very long time (even longer after a few beers) about how fucking awful the system is here. But don't worry, I won't. All I'll say is that, like the country's health and welfare system, higher education in the USA is driven by fear. I've resigned myself to yet another year of academic apathy. UEA classes were mostly awful but this is worse for all the opposite reasons. I get good marks, but that's not really the point.

But hey, the social side makes up for it so who am I to complain?
