It really is. >_< People have already lost their homes and who knows what else. It's so useless... And indeed, it will only lead to more problems and more violence. I hope it will be safer by then. D: My girlfriend is supposed to go there this Thursday; not sure if she will now. >.>
I am so sad about this and just... fucking worried about my friends. I have some living in Hackney and although Rath lives on the outskirts, his work sometimes sends him to Birmingham and I have no idea if he's there or not and I can't even check on Facebook because I removed him. :(
You were one of the first people I thought of when I heard the news, and I didn't even know all this then. >_< I hope your friends are all okay and that Rath is perfectly safe. D: *hugs* I can't even imagine how worried you must be.
There is never a "good time" for shit like this but it couldn't have come at a worse time... this and missing Rath and missing my friends and mixed feelings about Korea. :( It's like my soul is rebelling.
I love London a lot as well, it's one of my most favorite cities ever and it makes me angry and sad that this is happening. Why are people behaving this way? Really, what's the point of it? It only makes a bad situation worse and fucks things up for a lot of people. I want to punch the people pulling the riots in the face, because they seriously piss me off. D:
I don't understand what's going through their heads. The youngest person to be arrested last night was eleven years old. I wasn't even allowed out that late at that age, and I never would have dreamt of doing anything like this. How are these children even raised?
