Translation - Genki, Miyachika, Jinguji & Kishi - Cool Talk - Popolo August 2014
Hi o/ the boys answer questions about "cool" things.
Sorry if some of it sounds weird... They swap between using "cool" and "kakkoi" which both mean cool, so when I wrote it in English it sounds like they're saying cool over and over again. :|

Our cool summer is starting!
The feeling is Manhattan! These four present their awesome stylish suit appearance.
Question 1: Who do you think of when you say cool person?
Genki: Nakai-kun’s coolness makes my heart pound!
When I met him at a TV show recording previously, when he entered the recording he became cheerful, but before that he looked really cool. Being like that is really cool. But despite that he talked to me kindly, and my heart fluttered.
Kishi: Even Koichi-kun’s lingering scent is really cool.
Although I’m sure there are warm parts inside him too, with no love he’s cool. His big gestures are also cool. Because when he quickly walked past me even the lingering scent was cool!
Jinguji: Kimura-san is really cool <3
When I saw Kimura Takuya-san I immediately and completely fell in love with him <3. His coolness and sexiness, the way he walks, the emotion in his eyes, all of it is amazing. I want to stop being a frivolous boy and become cool~
Miyachika: Kawai-kun is a cool leader!
ABC-Z’s Kawai-kun is strict at work, but his extreme kindness is manly and I admire it. When he’s MCing he even helps his senpais. He’s a composed person who observes his surroundings so I think he’s a cool leader.
Qhuestion 2: What's a cool type of girl?
Genki: An active girl!
Like when she’s dancing~. I like a T-shirt, jeans and cap style for myself, so I think a girl with that kind of style too would be cool.
Kishi: If she smells soft then I’ll go crazy~
Like when I feel the scent of her perfume~. Because I have a smell fetish. During summer a citrus type of smell is good, it’s refreshing. I like the soft feeling of when she quickly brushes away her hair.
Jinguji: A girl who tries hard is lovely
A girl who is wearing glasses and facing her laptop frantically doing work is cool. If a girl that was always perfect became sad, I would quietly bring her coffee. I want that delusion to happen one day.
Miyachika: A girl who will get angry at me!
Since I’m really masochistic, a girl getting angry is irresistible. If she showed me the difference between that and her normal gentle self, my heart would pound and I wouldn’t be able to control myself~. A girl scolding me feels motherly so I like it.
Question 3: What's your personal cool fashion?
Genki: I want to become cool and go to Kyoto <3
Jeans and a T-shirt I think. And wearing a cap. I want to tour the temples. I also like “The Johnny’s” look as well. Wearing boots; an image kind of like Kento-kun’s.
Kishi: A simple look is still cool
Shorts and short sleeves! Because easy-going is the best. ‘Cause it’s cool. This year I’ve already bought blue and red and lots of different pairs of shorts. Summer will have the motto “easy-going is best”!
Jinguji: Look at these clothes!
Wearing this kind of black shirt and suit, I want people to look at me take my tie off <3. I admire scenes where men loosen their ties, so I’ve always wanted to do that myself. Viva Wild Jinguji!
Miyachika: Succeed in being refreshingly cool!
Since it’s summer, I want a kind of style with a smooth jacket and a plain T-shirt, and tight pants and loafers. What do you think? Isn’t that a refreshingly cool me!?
Question 4: What's a cool thing that’s happened recently?
Genki: I’ve had courage!
I gave my seat to an old person on the train! The old me would have seen an old lady standing, and I would have thought about giving my seat, but then I would have thought that everyone would look at me and it would be embarrassing. I thought about it for about two stations, and then I texted Fukazawa-kun asking what I should do.
Kishi: Even though bringing water is required at concerts…
At Crea, I gave Aran water. He didn’t bring any himself, so my heart forced me to do it. Because it’s the time when people want water isn’t it. I think I was really cool when I did that.
Jinguji: Me with black hair!
I decided to dye my hair pitch black. I’m satisfied with my new traditional look, but no one has praised me for it, so me praising myself is cool isn’t it (lol).
Miyachika: Men walk silently!
Even though it’s the beginning of summer, I walked 20 minutes to get to this studio, which was cool. Cool men walk silently! No matter how much you sweat, you continue walking in a cool silence.
