Recently, we’ve been busy with things like Crea and haven’t been able to hang out much. Have you gone for a drive recently? (From Jesse)
We haven’t been able to hang out at all. On my days off, I spent the whole time practicing bass for Johnny’s Ginza. Next time let’s go to Kuruizawa! I want to rent bikes and go for walks. Let’s go to onsens too!
What did you learn at university? (From Hokuto)
If I were to talk seriously, my class on poverty left an impression on me. I learnt that even in Japan that there are children who aren’t able to go to school. Even though there are laws to try and fix this problem, I still thought about it a lot.
How long does it take for your facial hair to grow? How thick does it get? (From Shintaro)
Ever since I shaved during a photoshoot I’ve become known as the guy who shaves a lot among the members of the group, but in reality if I shave once a day it’s not a problem!
Since you’re the grandpa among us, what’s something that has made you feel old recently? (From Juri)
But I’ve always been older than everyone (lol). I guess, my joints have been cracking a lot, and they get cramped more easily. During Sexy Zone’s concert I did a backflip while my legs were cramped. And with food, I’ve gotten worse at eating greasy things. I like liver more than ribs too. I also like salt or lemon over dipping sauce!
I remember that Kouchi likes futsal. Where in your house do you put your balls? (From Kyomoto)
What is this boring question!? I have a case to put all my futsal stuff in, so I put the balls in that too. Ever since my friends from university started working, our schedules never match and so we haven’t been able to play at all! All I’ve been able to do is play with Iwamoto (Hikaru)-kun and Hashimoto (Ryosuke)-kun for a little bit after Johnny’s World.

Are you going surfing? Because remember I banned you from surfing before Crea started. If you go surfing during Crea I’ll get mad! (From Jesse)
I haven’t gone surfing since summer last year! You told me “there’s an accident where someone dies every year so don’t go”, so I thought you must be worried about me.
What’s the thing you like most? What’s the thing you hate most? (From Hokuto)
What I like most is (Iwahashi) Genki! During Sexy Zone’s tour, I was always with him and Jin (Jinguji Yuta). Even on our days off we did stuff like have a barbeque and go shopping, we spent most of it together. Recently I can’t leave Genki alone I think~. What I hate most is… Jin (lol). When I go shopping with him, he says “You should buy this wallet” and I end up buying it. He’s the reason I’m running out of money!
Why do you always wear your sunglasses behind your ears? I think it looks lame. Ah, is it because you don’t know where your eyes are? (From Kyomoto)
Don’t call me lame (lol)! I used to do it all the time because of when I went surfing, but aren’t I wearing necklaces more often now?

At night, I went to Genki and Jin’s room to hang out with them~. In the morning, I had the habit of waking up 5 minutes before we had to meet up with everyone, so Hokuto would always say “we only have 5 minutes left, is that okay?” and I would reply “n?”, so that was our daily conversation!

Can you stop acting like we are driving buddies who have gone on drives together heaps of times in the past? It’s weird. You always fall asleep straight away in the passenger seat, so I have to be careful not to wake you and can’t play music, it’s troubling. The only driving I’ve done recently is to go borrow DVDs.
What’s something you’ve done recently that made you think “I’m so damn cute”? (From Hokuto)
When I came home really late one night and there wasn’t any dinner left over for me, I found evidence that my family had eaten fried prawns, and it made me want to eat fried prawns so I made them myself! Aren’t I cute copying my mother and mixing flour, eggs and breadcrumbs together (lol)?
I’m beating you with my one shot gags recently. Have you thought of any funny one shot gags? (From Jesse)
Hahaha. You’re still an amateur at making people laugh from one shot gags. I’ve already learnt how to make an atmosphere where people laugh just because I’m there, without relying on one shot gags, so I’m already a person on another level compared to you.
What’s the most recent dream you’ve had? I had a dream where I went bald! (From Kouchi)
Last week I had a dream where everyone in the world became a zombie and my family and I were running away from them. But then my eldest brother became a zombie… the ending is too gross so I can’t say it!
Us two are the skinniest out of all the members, but are you doing anything fatty recently? A little while ago I used to do things like eat cup noodles and drink protein before I went to bed. (From Kyomoto)
Even when I get out of bed in the afternoon, I will always eat three times a day, and when I think “Ah I’m so full”, I’ll eat again! Stuffing myself like that is really difficult, but it’s a step towards becoming fatter. Also, when I’m buying ice cream and I can’t decide which flavour to get, I look at the packaging and pick the one with the highest calories.

Out of America and Japan, which do you think of as home? (From Hokuto)
Obviously Japan~. Since I was brought up around Japanese culture. I’m also confident that I love Japan the most out of all the members! I sing ballads and classic hit songs at karaoke too, I love Japan!
Have you gone to a game arcade recently to play medal game games? (From Shintaro)
I go and play games with my best friends on my days off, but I haven’t been able to go recently. If I go even just once, I won’t go home until I win a jackpot. I’ve spent the whole day at a game arcade before.
Since you’re always listening to music in dressing rooms, do you listen to music at home too? (From Kyomoto)
What, isn’t it obvious I listen to music at home too? When I’m in the bathroom singing my mum gets angry at me and yells “shut up!” But, my dad used to listen to music really loudly too, so maybe I’m similar to my dad (lol).
The two of us went out for dinner together recently after you invited me. But you kind of got all tense and couldn’t look at my face… Did you enjoy yourself that night? (From Juri)
I did enjoy myself! You’re the one who usually talks Juri! We even had a conversation like “We’re both 20 years old now~” while we were eating cheese fondue! Since we’re usually only together in big groups, maybe we just felt awkward with it being just the two of us!

I’ve gottenTakizawa (Hideaki)-kun’s. He gave it to me when we were acting in the stage play “Takizawa Kabuki” together. On your days off, do you do anything apart from read books? Do you leave the house? (From Jesse)
I do stuff like walk around neighbourhoods I don’t know. I go to parks, and sit on park benches at tennis courts and watch old people play tennis. Watching their slow paced matches is relaxing.
I know you’re the type of person who doesn’t like to spend much time with others, but have you started hanging out with juniors other than Hirano (Sho) recently? (From Shintaro)
I haven’t even been hanging out with Sho recently~. But juniors who I am interested in and think are cute are Junior Boys. I want to sing “Sanbyo Waratte” with them! During that song they stand in a circular formation, and I want to stand in the centre of that circle!
Have you started making friends at university? (From Kyomoto)
No I haven’t! I never intended to make any friends at university in the first place. I can act more freely by myself anyway. Actually, I think I might spend more time with my professors. I go to my professor’s rooms and stay with them and do stuff like eat lunch together.
Have you ever gone to a different beautician? Your hair has always looks the same, so I thought you must be getting it cut at the same place. (From Juri)
I always go to the same beautician and get my hair cut by the same person. But my hair style changes occasionally. Maybe it’s hard to tell at first glance because I never dye it. If you look at old photos, the length of my hair is always different so go have a look.
Do you use a point card? What shop’s point card do you use often? I use the one where the text is yellow. (From Kouchi)
I have point cards from convenience stores, and I save money. I use them at supermarkets too, just like a housewife! But when I go to pay, and the shop clerk asks me “are you going to use a point card?” I use up all my points straight away, so I don’t actually save that much. But I’m trying hard to work up to get a freebie at a clothes shop!

You were saying before that you wanted to go to a cafe for a famous great detective anime, were you able to go? (From Jesse)
Yeah, I went just to buy merchandise! I brought along Nagatsuma (Reo) and Negishi (Aoimi) and Tanimura (Ryuichi) forcibly since they aren’t interested in anime. When I got recognised by fans they yelled “wait until you’ve finished buying everything!” and acted like my bodyguards (lol). I bought two T-shirts and a cushion, and I wear the T-shirts to rehearsals!
What are you into at the moment? (From Hokuto)
I go and play darts twice a week. I always go with (Morita) Myuto, and we play by rules where you compete for a position called the cricket. (T/N: I’m not 100% sure about this sentence I have no idea how darts rules work lol) At the place we usually go to, there are lots of people who are really good and compete in competitions, and I think I’m getting really good at it too, so I think it’s only a matter of time until I get invited to compete in a competition too.
How are you a “Playful boy” like you said in “Takizawa Kabuki”? Please tell me where that came from. (From Shintaro)
Well, my playfulness comes out naturally. Within the 10 people who are in the prologue of the play, aren’t I the cutest one?
Since you’re constantly busy doing stage plays, what are your methods of relieving stress and relaxing? (From Juri)
Karaoke! I go a lot with Shime (Shimekake Ryuya), Nakada (Hiroki) and Myuto. Last time we went Shime and I did impersonations while singing Ai no Katamari, with Shime as Fukuyama Masaharu me as Sakurai Kazutoshi from Mr Children.
What’s a natural airhead type of thing you’ve done recently? (From Kouchi)
I have separate bags for the clothes and the shoes I wear at dance rehearsals to take them home. The other day I accidentally put my shoes in the clothes bag, and when I got home my mother got angry at me and told me “it’s going to be dirty now”. But then I did the same thing the next day too.
