Usually I would have written this in my paper journal, but I don't have that right now, I didn't pack it for some reason, and I figured, hey, this is what these online journals are for anyway, right? Maybe I should start doing that more often ( Read more... )

I never believed that relying on an outside source for your own 'salvation' was necessary. Believing in a being that you've never met, and unfaithfully give yourself so they could save you is...strange. I want to do it myself, and I believe you can do it too. Just because you have a cage around you doesn't mean you can't break through. It'll take a long while, yes, but I have faith in you!

Our cage often keeps us 'safe'. We don't have to go beyond our comfort zone and when problems come up we can blame it on all the same issues. I know you are strong enough to face it all and I know you'll do it. It will take time and patience, which will probably stress you out even more before you get there, but you'll get there.

You've acknowledged it and I think that's the hardest part and the first step to going wherever you want.

And I'll always be around should you need me.

I really need to check my LJ more often. It is a very deep movie, and I'm glad we could watch it togther. As for changes, as for stopping running, all that comes in time. Life changes, I've noticed, don't really happen all at once. The big catharsis that Holly had in the movie was very cinematic and all, but in reality, it doesn't happen quite like that usually. Life is a series of little events that add up to one big thing. Or, so I've found. So hold tight, and some day, you'll look back and realize you're a completly different person <3

That makes a lot of sense, actually. I suppose a lot of it comes down to having patience with myself. I'm glad we did get to watch it together <3 Less than four, bee bee.
