In 2010, I changed: the house I live in three times, the city I live in once, my summer job, my career, my part-time jobs; I became [mostly] financially independent, left a long term relationship, got into another relationship, lost two grandparents, watched my younger sister obtain a car, career, and salary before me. That's a lot of change! Where are you living now/what are you doing?

Hey! I was actually just talking about you the other day! My dad has decided that I should quit my job and become a singer-songwriter (which, as you know, is impossible). I went on a long tangent about how unrealistic that is, and why and blah blah blah, which ended with and if anyone should be famous by now, it would be Hayley!
Annnnyways,
I'm living in Kingston, teaching 1 class of high school guitar, conducting 2 choirs, singing in one (Cantabile- Mark Sirrett's choir. Every so often something happens that reminds me of Conspirato and I die a little inside), and working part time doing respite and working at Extend-a-family. It's actually not as busy as it sounds. I'm also seeing someone new who I met at Extend-a-family. She's wonderful, but I must say it's strange seeing someone who isn't as intense of a musician. I gave her a really long tutorial on what suspensions were haha. Also, I just stalked the Conspirato webpage, and we're in the picture. Guess we're still in it. Cool.

I need to find an intense musician. All my music knowledge is dying now that I'm not teaching anymore and it makes me incredibly sad. I crave the experience of learning something new, musically speaking.

Also, I'm spending two months this summer teaching theory. I have never been more excited in my life to be teaching theory. The problem is I will have to RELEARN so much of it before I do... blues scale, anyone? (1st 3rd 4th raised4th 5th 7th 8/1st?)
