So here i am waiting on my front porch waiting for the police to come and pick me up for shoplifting...its 3am, cold, raining... i think you let them push you around too much. you should have told him to call the cops right then -- if you were some little old lady or a banker who forgot his wallet at the office they would have been totally considerate. next time make them call the cops, who may or may not arrest you but at least legal aid will assign you a lawyer who will get the case laughed out of the courts immediately.

you should also go back and pay your $2.12 and then write sobey's a letter demanding an apology. it's not like you're the first person to eat something before they get to the checkout.
