[Vash doesn't argue at all. Quickly closing his eyes!]

[Vash is actually surprised by the real kiss. He expected more like a punch to the face. He doesn't really know WHAT to do. So he stands there awkwardly for a moment or two with his eyes still shut tight.]

[Well, Karai apparently has nothing else to say. All has gone utterly silent.

In fact, when Vash finally opens his eyes, he'll realise the room has apparently been stripped bare. Leaving nothing but a kitten still curled up asleep on one of the chairs.

Either, that's one ninja house move, or Karai finally got her wish.]

Karai? [Vash enters the unsettling empty room. Could she have really just been sent home? He's never been so close before when it's happened, but he can find no other reason.

He can't help himself, checking every room to be sure before coming back to carefully lift up Chaplin. I guess it's up to him to let Saki know too.
