Finally! I have finally finished the cursed Chapter 4. Not bad for being stuck in bed for the past few days. I hate feeling poorly. And now that my goal is so close, only 3000 more words to write and the first draft is finished, I have lost the will to write. I just can't win can I? Hang in there! You're so close, you can do it!! I was having a lot of trouble getting back into things at the beginning of the week, but seem to have finally found a schedule that works. Except that I'm still not quite sure how it's going to come together in time... but I can't focus on that. I just have to keep moving! And then maybe we can both get a milk shake :)

The dictaphone sounds like it's really useful. The counselor suggested that something like that may help me too. Could you e-mail some information about the one's you've been looking at? I'm thinking that I'm definitely going to need to try something new to get myself through next year.

That's too bad that Andy isn't doing so well with his. When is his due??

Right, back to work with me!

My dissertation is also due on the 29th, so lunch then sounds like a good idea. :) Andy's is due a week after ours.
As for the dictaphones, the ones from Olympus seem to be really good. I've been looking in the Argos catalogue initally. I figure since my parents have offered to pay, I might try for the more expensive one which is the 320M version, about as small as an iPod Nano, 1Gig of memory, plays mp3s and can record for a really long time before the battery gives out if the specs are to be believed. I think that one was going for £130ish. The Argos ones are much more affordable. I'm finding it's also incredibly useful for recording meetings as well.
I am not sure where the icon is from, but given the artist who made it I would say it might have been a campus in Canada, but I don't know for certain. Good luck with your work! Well get it done!
