I decided today to try and make Mrs. Schmiedekamp's Forgotten Cookies. Despite the recipe being in American units of measure I was able to approximate the amounts needed and the mixture turned out perfectly. After Christmas sales are definitely fun! Especially boxing Day sales for electronics... :) You definitely miss out in the States not having Boxing Day sales...

I picked up a portable DVD player yesterday so that I can work on my computer while watching, and today picked up six shirts for $125! Yay! I'll have a whole new work wardrobe when I come back, not to mention lots of movies... dangerous that...
