+ Belief is now amplified by about 25%.  What this means is that it will take 1) less people Believing something to make it happen and 2) Belief will work faster.  It will still require more than an offhand remark for something to have an effect, but characters will still want to watch what they say.  We're not going

ok having given it some thought, Mari and Zafer are my only dudes who'd take advantage of this without prompting.

After he turns this month, Zafer will probably go running to Godric for help w/ making the transformations easier if nothing else. CAN HE SOB INTO YOUR SHOES GODRIC.

Mari is hard because she still thinks she's soulless and/or will die soon and might attempt to manipulate Belief to make herself More Useful to everyone, so less people feel the urge to stab her in the face. So! She might approach Godric to ask to become a test subject of some kind idk. They can set up a holiday home in Baddecisiononia, maybe rule it from a palace made of broken dreams and terrible mistakes.

In the meantime, Ree will be crying into his pillow fort and trying to Believe Godric sensible.

Would this play on existing rumors for a certain character? For example, would Lena begin to exhibit siren-like properties or develop a propensity to go off to Inanna's?

I've decided to play on the siren rumor. She'll be unnaturally beautiful and sing very well (but won't be able to magically compel men to do things, no need for the whole 'tie me to the mast' whatnot.), she'll have a strange obsession with birds and the ocean. Also, when she's ovulating (13th - 15th every month because those are the actual days in the cycle and i am not creative), she will have the overwhelming urge to hurt people/things/etc. It's resistible, but it will make her very upset and grouchy (which will most likely lead to hurting people/things/etc anyway). Extremely, extremely skillful music may soothe this, but she doesn't know that and I doubt music, especially to such an amazing degree, was very available then.

All in all still a fragile human, just weird and tortured. These things would develop gradually over the event.
