Didn't so much work out in France. After all that Cita bullshit, no one wanted to hear us out. I skipped off halfway to Nantes. What's the point, you know, if we're just a church full of fuck-ups?
Guess what I'm saying is I'm back in town. Anybody wanna take me in? The Citadel'll probably skin me alive if I show my face without some converts.

I'd offer, but Dee's place is better. Welcome back.
Family dinner soon. Bring a bottle of wine.

You better make sure Dee's happy. Her friends have recently developed a tendency to die, and her husband...
Also, Dee's birthday's coming up. Help me and Luce plan.

I'll bring a couple. They'll keep Lucia happy, at least.

When's she ever happy? Diya was alright last I saw him, he's just a layabout. Talk about wrong for her.
What're you thinking?

Thank you!

... Let's not get me talking. I'll never end. Anyway, how're you? Is everything all right?
Pretty simple, actually; just a small surprise party with the people she cares most about. I'm trying to ask around for a good restaurant. I'm thinking of talking to Siann, too. She might know of a place. Any other ideas?

Mostly. Guess I'm technically on the lam. It's not like the Citadel's got more important things to worry about, though.
Nowhere that serves cake. As I hear it, everyone's full up. You could try to get Diya to bend the king's ear. A party at the Hold could be interesting.

Mostly...? Well, I'm sure they'll be forgiving. It sounds like you came back under extenuating circumstances.
I tried to convince him to buy Dee a leash for Simon. A simple leash. And he decides he'd rather not, that he'd just give her money for whatever she wants instead. I bet he'd just give me money to bribe His Majesty with.
