It has been a long time since I have seen another's first experience with snow. My dog is quite enamoured with it.

This break in the weather is pleasant enough.

I imagine that as absolutely adorable~ A puppy, perhaps?

Quite lovely, indeed. I am very pleased the pile of snow on my front porch won't be getting any higher, at least momentarily. If only it would clear itself of its own accord.

A pup yet. Only some months old but large already. [pause to check the name again] One from your sister, actually. One of Simon's brood.

She enjoys snowballs.

Yes. I hope the melting does not result in too much ice.

From Dee? Then I have no doubt she's absolutely lovely!

Careful not to pelt her too hard.

... Now that's a thought. Frozen, slippery streets. This warm weather better persist.

She and her brother both, in different ways.

Ah, Bashirah eats them before they can hit. Or tries to.

Breaking the ice with a shovel helps. Tedious work, however.

You got two? My, they must make your life very lively.

Bashirah. An interesting name. Any story behind it?

Not likely something I'll be able to manage, but if the need arises surely I'll find some assistance~

Only one is mine. The owner of the other convalesces. [not that Tobias would probs remember to take Asher out for a walk anyways even if he were better :|] So they keep me busy. It keeps initiates busy as well.

A name from the past. Arabic. It means, "bringer of joy". May it prove true.

Tsk, tsk, making the little ones run after the pups. Though I suppose that is fitting. I hope your friend recovers swiftly.

Looks like it's already begun to.

Though it is a task. It is different enough to distract them. Though the dogs are almost bigger than they.

And as dogs grow faster than children, the dogs will soon be bigger. And they will stay so for a while. I do hope you don't try the children too much, charming as the idea may be.

I will have to remind the smaller ones. Not to let the dogs run with them. Lest they be taken on a walk themselves.

Though, if it were on the ice...

Let's not expose human or canine to the hazard, hmm?

[a long pause]

Perhaps not. The healers are busy enough.

Though I'm sure you have your own healers at the Citadel, should the need arise, my services are always open for Bashirah and the children. ♥

Now I would love to see what services Bashirah could provide me.

She fetches well.

And can sit on people.
