Ramblin', where to begin?Well, it's been one of those predictably periodic pauses in posting. Please pardon my propensity to p's. Life continues for the most part to be incredibly satisfactory, and I've been spending most of my time living it, instead of writing about it. 1) Nice view! [picks jaw up]

2) Yay for your own cute Buttercup :)

3) So the venue was good? I do now indeed have UW tickets in my hand, and am pretty excited!

I have been a terrible Jarmusch fan (especially considering I have that damn website and am supposedly the moderator of a mailing list), but, OMG, it's playing at a theater near me. Weekend plans may need to be recalculated (from nothing to something, so it shouldn't be a difficult transition). I'm so jazzed that Isaach de Bankolé has such an upfront role in this one.

Bankolé was brilliant in Night on Earth and Ghost Dog.

Very much.

I once watched a German film that he had a starring role in, but, unfortunately, I don't remember anything about it aside from him being lovely.

He was also in the Daniel Craig Casino Royale, which was a little disconcerting.

Check out Magister Ludi (Glass Bead Game) and Demian, if you haven't already. They're my favorite Hesse.
