OKAY SO, the last time elapses had a Harry Potter phase she was going on about how much she loved Ted/Andromeda and I didn't really... get it, because they are two characters who together have about one scene plus maybe three throwaway lines total in the entire seven books, and how do you even have an opinion on that? LOL BECAUSE THEY ARE LARGELY INSIGNIFICANT... they're Tonks' parents, they're in one scene in Deathly Hallows :|

LOL I LOVE HOW THEY ARE LIKE THAT, HOW THEY'RE ALL "but why would I care about them, they barely exist", and then all the sudden obsessed.

Anyway I am too delighted that this exists to even feel weird about dling Beatles songs! Omg all of these lyrics, I love the way you can feel the transition between them here. AND FOR SOME REASON

LOL I WAS SERIOUSLY LIKE "WHY" WHEN YOU FIRST MENTIONED BEING INTO THEM, like not in a judgey way just in an "I don't understand you" way, and then... and then. I love them so much now, and honestly I am pretty sure that a not insignificant part of it is how much they remind me of Trip/T'Pol, lol my entire life oh god. Complicated snooty girls! o m g never thought of it that way hello new levels of feelings, ugh watch as I end up going back to that stupid French fic because there is legitimately nothing else left to whet my thirst.

Ummm y sort of! I mean not really, they were just super popular in 5th grade and I contrarily decided I didn't like them and have never really gone back on it. (Relatedly in 4th grade we had this music teacher named Frank that everyone but me and Vivian hated because he taught us about like, classical/baroque/romantic composers and "boring stuff" and then in 5th grade our music teacher was this guy named Jon who made us like, watch Beatles movies and sing Beatles songs and everyone loved him and meanwhile I resented him because everyone loved him and they didn't love Frank, so, uh, yeah.) But I agree, I think it was a good choice to go ~retro ( ... )

TED REALLY REMINDS ME OF TRIP, he is basically the British Hogwarts equivalent of Southern and ~charming~, and the way he keeps trying even though Andromeda is snooty and kind of an asshole and racist/has a superiority complex because there's ~something about her~ is similar (although I don't think Ted has that phase at the beginning where he dislikes her, it's just that at first she is untouchable and also rude/mean). Why can't there be a billion mediocre ff.net longfics about them, god ;__ ( ... )
