I believe I have returned to normal. An infinitude of possible futures pulled at me like riptides, but I kept my head above the water. Not that I personally have ever seen such a thing but...well, you know, if you know me. Meryl, if you like, we can resume exploration of the ruins

How did they effect your world? Did they change your future? Were they considered men to follow?

Well...Yulia was a woman, and she died two thousand years ago. She read the Score, which depicted -supposedly- the most prosperous future, and mankind followed it blindly to ensure that would happen. We lived lives according to what was read from the Score.

And this 'Score', did it result in the prosperous future you asked for? Was any research done into the effect her prophecy had on your future?

They were innocent questions, asked with good intentions. But perhaps you have learned to beware of the answers?

Your visions were interesting, though. You saw different paths my life could have taken, is that right?

Yes, though I have luckily forgotten quite a few. I would caution against asking me which of them is the 'true' future. I would not wish to effect your world.
