Heh... So is it safe to say that I haven't gotten anything stolen yet? Or is that going to warrant things thrown at me in disgust? I mean, it could very well be possible that I haven't noticed anything missing ( Read more... )

Well just so you know, my Mami back home makes the best Enchilades ever. The stuff aboard tastes like shit.

Ohh! You're right! I haven't had Mexican food in a looong time! If the stuff on the ship is horrible, I can only imagine the yummy deliciousness that you're used... Hm, I think my mouth might be watering now.

It's just a fact. The food up here is shitty. And now I'm craving Mexican Food. Aye Dios Mio.

You know I kinda sorta not really know how to cook...

Whaaaat!? No, I don't believe you! You can't talk about all these delicious foods and not know how to cook some of it! Surely you have some recipes, right?

Anything but Starfleet protein nibs. Anything. If I never have to look at a Starfleet protein nib again I will die a happy man.

Ugh, I know exactly what you're talking about. That along with the basic food rations are horrible. I think I lost quite a bit of weight when that was pretty much my diet for about a year. No wonder you seem so happy whenever I see you in the cafeteria, Mr. Scott!

A year? I don't envy you one bit. At least I only had to endure it for six months.

Heheh, well, many don't know this, but I was a bit of a daredevil right after I graduated Star Fleet Academy and bounced all around doing various transport missions nonstop. After about a year I got really burnt out (and apparently quite hungry!) and settled for more stable piloting jobs before I was offered this position.

I think it was a good thing you were stationed for only 6 months; you were able to leave before you went stir crazy.

Ok, good. I'm not the only one.... As long as I don't open my drawers to find my undergarments gone, I think I'm OK if anything actually does end up missing.

No stolen goods here.

God, there are so many dishes I've been missing for months now. Uh, let's see. I'm really craving barbecue kabobs with steak and green peppers and mushrooms.

Hopefully saying we don't have anything missing won't make us targets... I didn't think about that.

Oh gosh, YES. I do love some good barbecue... and... I think I hate you. I didn't even think about kabobs until you brought it up (granted I told to to).

This was a horrible discussion topic, it makes me depressed. Think the Captain can let us swing by Earth just to eat now? haha...

You know what I really miss? It's totally not a traditional family food, but there used to be this taco place near the beach that my friends and I would always go to. Boy those tacos were delicious. I haven't had one in months!

Ah yes, Mexican food I miss too... and actually a good cheeseburger! After finals during my days in the Academy, I'd have to go "reward" myself with a cheeseburger and a milkshake. That place off campus that was a few blocks from the medical facilities was a favorite place of mine... the name escapes me because I swore it changed owners every couple of years.

[just so you know, I desperately wanted to reply: "¡Yo quiero Taco Bell!" but I held myself back XD]

Ohh I think I remember that place! They had the best chocolate shakes. I think it was called "Final Frontier?" I'm not sure though.

[lmao, girl the place I'm talking about is TOTALLY better than Taco Bell]

Yes! That's it!

All this talking makes me want to cook, but my supplies are getting quite limited, especially after the party.

I should have never asked this question! haha...
