Something I don't understand...Why can't they just do something like what they do for humans where they just snip the tubes so the sperm can't get out? Leaves the dog intact, but unable to breed unless the operation's reversed.
That'd work for a dog, too, but it'd also be a great deal more expensive, perhaps $300 or more vs less than $100 for a spaying. I think, anyway... not sure what vets charge for stuff these days. It's been a long long while since I had pets.
