Marriage

Well, I've just returned from my third and final trip of the summer. (1st-College World Series w/PMA, 2nd-Brother's HS Graduation in CA) It was the wedding of Donald and Melissa. For those of you who don't know, Donald is one of my Brothers in Phi Mu Alpha and Melissa is one of my dear friends here at LSU and the older sister of my new roommate

That's really awesome. I used to feel the same way about my parents... like the fact that my dad was never there made me want to not "inflict" a father upon my children... for a little while there, I was so resentful about my own experiences made me want to be a single mother (eek). I think part of growing up is realizing that you can learn from your parents' mistakes, and that having a family really can be a positive thing. The best thing you'll ever have in your life, even.

I'm going to feel so old when my friends start getting married. And it's not that far off. :-P
