I hate opera myself. Singin it is the worst *growls* It's like Nel cor peuno me sento GAH! Kill me... and my voice teacher, omg! She makes us listen to never-ending opera 0_o

Aww, I pity you.. I can't imagine trying to *sing* the stuff.. though trying to over-dramatize it might be amusing, for a short while.. then it would get old I'm sure. :P I actually found a translation of the song about the lost key, it is soooo funny.. cheesy.

Nel cor pewno me sento is acctually a comical song... and it was origanally sung by a guy... and it's weird singin it as a girl...

Hehe... I saw a production of "Samson and Delilah" by Camille Saint-Saens a few years ago... I actually liked it. Although my opera experience is pretty limited (and none of it in Italian, "Samson" is in French and I've heard the Ring Cycle of operas by Wagner, which are in German), I don't mind it, actually. Although I've wanted to sing a selection from "Faust" before... one of Mephistopheles' selections... one day, perhaps.
