SO UM. WOW.
I was kind of rendered to speechless babbling. But holy hell, EVERYONE gets the new sexy uniforms. I am so happy. @A@
So, first off, I'm kind of getting depressed every time I see Lockon in these things, because WTF Sunrise, stop teasing us with his sexy when we all know he's not going to even be in season two. Again, I state my reasons from before for why they might be doing it, but I can't tell if I appreciate or hate it. YOU BASTARDS. *crai*
That being said, Lockon's looking a little fabulous in the new getup. Doesn't help that he's posing the way he is on the spread page. They look right at home on Setsuna, though. Something about the cut is similar to his first season outfit, so it's not surprising. AND FELDT. Holy Jesus, she looks good in those. Tieria too, but that comes with very little surprise.
As far as the effects of the four year timeskip, I'm feeling them the most from Saji, of all people. OH MY GOD. HE GREW UP AND TURNED INTO A MAN. LIKE HOLY SHIT. LOOK AT HIM. I'm a little sad to say that I'm not feeling it as much with Setsuna, but I guess they had to keep some level of his wide-eyed, wavy-haired cuteness or he wouldn't be the same Setsuna. He does look older, don't get me wrong, but I think the fact that uh, oh yeah, he grew maybe HALF A FREAKING INCH BETWEEN 17 AND 21 might have something to do with it. Maybe in the actual show it'll look different. Less dynamic angles and poses to confuse us (though I say keep the shot of his backside in the trailer, by all means) than in these magazine articles.
And of course, Tieria looks EXACTLY THE FUCKING SAME. Not that I'm complaining, it's just freaking funny. Wish they could have at least done something with his hairstyle, like maybe add a few inches to it or something. Also, is anyone else seeing that deredere look he's giving us in the middle profile shot? Jesus Christ, I d'awwww-ed so hard. ;A; YOU SO MOE, YOU STUPID TRAP. ILU. And maybe it's just me, but I'm feeling the most change in Allelujah, out of all the Meisters. I think it's the fact that uh, oh yeah, you can SEE BOTH OF HIS EYES NOW, WHAT. It always did feel strange seeing both of them at the same time as Doublelujah, and now? God, it's gonna take some getting used to. Not in a bad way, though. Heterochromia is fucking hot.
PLUS YAY LASSE IS STILL ALIVE. *cries* I was scared we lost him back there, but I guess not. I mean, hell, even for the small amount of screen time he got, I somehow grew rather fond of him. He and Setsuna made an interesting team. Plus Ian and now his daughter? This should be interesting. I sense trouble with that pleated skirt though, since, well... there is no gravity to keep it down. And it looks like Marina is on the roster for season two now. My hopes are for moar interaction between her and Setsuna (especially since he's legal now *waggles brows*), and that, oh yeah, she grows a backbone. =_____=
Last but not least, NEW FIGURINES. SWIMSUIT ONES. OM NOM FUCKING NOM CHINA-TAN IN A BIKINI. @A@ PLZ TO BE MAKING SUMERAGI AND FELDT ONES TOO. ALSO, SOME SOMA WOULDN'T HURT, I'VE GOT A WEAK SPOT FOR THE RUSSIAN LOLI.
