It went about as well as a tournament can go without finishing 1st. I played my first 3 games at table 3 (predetermined) then played the rest of the tournament at table 1. I was 8-0, +977 after the first day, with my lowest score being 434. I drew 11 blanks and had 22 bingos. I scored 582 in round 3 and 609 (with 5 bingos) in round 5. I ( Read more... )

I was just reporting on the Scrabble portion of the itinerary. :) The bacon was excellent. The beer bread was good too. Thanks again for letting me stay.

I commend you for not excoriating me. I'm sure you know if the situation were reversed, I'd be much less reserved in my blog.

I try not to be nasty unless people really deserve it.

I made a really bad play in that last game. I played DO for 20 keeping HOAX? when I could have played VOX for 26 keeping ODAH? I get lazy sometimes. If I get lazy this weekend, I'll be lucky to win a couple of games.
