I'm writing a tournament report for Charlotte because it was so interesting (especially the trip there).  It's taking me a long time to write though because it's very long and work is so busy this week.  I'll post it when I can.

13-17, +200 something.  At one point I was 10-8, +900 something but then I didn't win many games after that.  It may turn out to be my worst tournament ever in terms of ratings loss.  I'll be lucky to still be over 1800.  But it doesn't matter because the tournament was a blast (as always) and I've got a string of tournaments coming up so it's hard ( Read more... )

All of a sudden Papelbon can't get anyone out and Brady can't hit the broad side of a barn door. What an excruciating 7.5 hours.

Why does a cheeseburger cost 99 cents at Burglar King but a double cheeseburger costs $2.89? The only extra thing you get with a double cheeseburger is an extra patty, and seems like that should be worth less than $1.90 considering you can get almost two extra cheeseburgers for that price.
