Hoorah! And here a year ago I would not have believed that they would ever actually put out another album again, despite the fact that they've claimed to be working on their third album since, oh, at least 2001...

Indeed! I was a little unsure about the first bits I had heard, so I went ahead and downloaded the album and wound up really liking it, hence my going out today to get it.

And eh, I downloaded Seventh Tree and haven't bought it yet either. I'll probly get a copy eventually, but I'm really not that impressed with it. I mean Clowns is amazing, and Happiness is growing on me, but the rest, whatever. I'm kinda tired of shelling out money for cds I won't listen to by artists whose other stuff I liked, so we'll see...

I do that all the time. It's an OCD thing. If Seventh Tree wasn't by Goldfrapp I probably wouldnt get it. Its not bad but I can't get into the second half of the album, its too pleasant and generic. All their three previous albums, I have loved equally but this one is for me what Volta is for Björk.

Ow! I thought Volta was a good album... not her best, but more enjoyable than Medulla.

Yeah, A&E really put me off at first with its really, really top-40 chorus, and that terrible vocal effect she uses in the very beginning of the song. The rest is OK, but I haven't listened to it much...

Hmmm, I think mine would have to be the Bjork/PJ Harvey/Tori Amos interview when each of their careers was just starting in the early 90s.

ah well yes that is my favorite interview trio however I wouldn't consider it much more than that since they didn't do guest work on each others records. Bjork and Pj became buddys and sang a song live together. Tori covered a minute of Hyperballad durring Butterfly at a couple misc concerts and covered on PJ song.

Hm, true, I guess I was just naming the nearest similar thing which I enjoyed. And wait, when did Tori cover a PJ song?
