Somebody came by to trap mama cat today. I'm actually kind of upset about it. I contacted a whole bunch of cat rescue groups and NO ONE got back to me. I wanted someone who could foster the pregnant mama and then the kittens. But that's pretty damn near impossible. So this woman specializes in in the trap neuter release program. She said probably

my best friend just took in 4 kittens, fostered them, and found homes for them. we had kind of a parallel situation, except we took them in when they were 5 weeks. it is actually better for them to do an abortion. there are so many kitties that need homes. the pounds are overfilled with kittens right now. Our mama cat is fine now that the kittens are gone, although she was going crazy the month that they were inside. we had a really hard time letting the kittens go. after having them for over a month we were really attached.
