being dd is shit.
last weekend i was in charge of controlling the drunks and ended up having to physically carry 3 girls out of the back room of the bar after they had been making out with the bartenders. fun fun fun.

i'm curious... how long are you going to be in nyc and what to you plan to visit?
i can give you recomendations if you would like.

I am actually not going to NYC, im going upstate. But i am soooo definitely going to the city while Im there. My grandma owns this shack in White Lake, NY, and I'll be there for 2 months. After that, I'm going to college in the city late August.

I'm all about your recommendations :)Or a guided tour ?

well i don't know where white lake is, but i'm sure it's nice.
since you'll be staying in a so-called "shack", i don't know if you'll have access to your email.

- metropolitan museum of art (i love this place)
- the guggenheim (it's right down the street from the met)
- chinatown
- soho (art/fashion district)
- greenwich village (cultural district)
- central park (find the castle and climb to the top)
- times square (7th avenue)
- 5th avenue (expensive shops

...that's all i can think of off the top of my head.

i'm can't remember, are you going to nyu? i have a few friends that go to columbia university.

fuck. THAT IS THE SHIT. i miss those things more than any other food item. here, 'almond croissant' means a stale croissant au beurre with a few slivered almonds glued on top. how i long for that delicious frangipane-centered pastry...

i haven't tried fauchon, though, over on park avenue -- when you come to new york, maybe you and i should venture over there to try out what they have to offer. i know their macarons are delicious.
