The trouble with setting high standards is that they are nearly impossible to surpass.  So when they are met, it feels...ordinary.  Satisfying, yes; but there is no sense of overwhelming pride that comes when you exceed a goal.  And it makes me kind of angry with myself because I feel like I SHOULD be proud, like some of my friends are of me, but * ( Read more... )

To answer your question about what you do after AP US History and AP Bio, well, sadly, you do some projects. But, don't be sad, they are actually lots of fun. For US, you can either write a 10 page paper about whatever you want or you can make a documentary about a particular piece of US history and incorporating an art perspective, political perspective and others). For AP Bio, now...that was fun. You can either do artwork (3 pieces, I believe) showing something that we learned or you can do a video (which is what, of course, most people do, including me). You can do a video on a newscast (on news related to Bio of course) or you can do a playful perspective on Bio, he gave the example of a playground representing the human body, by sliding down the slide you have the intestine or something. So, actually, you'll have a bit of fun after all this crappy work is done. One more thing to this long comment, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU'RE ALMOST DONE AND YOU'RE DOING AMAZINGLY!

Oh yeeeeeah, I remember seeing your bio video when I visited Ian's class last year. I think you were a bee or something?
Hmm. A report. Well, it's better than tests.

And thanks! Where are you going to school next year? I'm going to have to carry on the TAG (if it ever resurrects itself) alone. =(

But gah, you told Rob my score? He was like, "I heard you ripped the SAT a new one." and I was like wth. But that's okay.

After APs, let's have dinner. And this time, actually have a real dinner.

I never congradulated you on your scores!

By the way, no, our scores don't really matter much at all. I'm not really even studying for them.
