As an adopted child, I am very grateful that my mother choose to give me up. But know what? Had she had an abortion, I would not know the difference would I?

I am pro-choice 100%, just not as a form of birth control.

But don't you think God knows? Does it ever cross your mind what happens during an abortion and that the child feels pain, even that young? I respect your right to your own opinion, and I know I have little chance of changing your view, but I just have to ask if it's common for those who are pro-choice to ignore the horror, don't know what really happens, or just feel that a child is not a child until it's born and takes it's first breath of oxygen. Probably not something you can answer for anyone other than yourself, and that's ok. I have seen pictures of what abortion procedures are done and what happens to the child. I know so many who don't have any idea what really happens.

I have not actually "seen" the procedure, I'll admit that. My mom was a nurse though, and I know to some degree the procedure(s) they used (mind that's eons ago, not a clue on newer ways). I get that it's not exactly pleasant ( ... )

The've had ultrasounds during saline abortions where the child actually moves away from the saline in order to get away from it. They have nerves, even that young. Abortions aren't just unpleasant, they're horrific if you actually look at pictures, watch video, or read what happens ( ... )
