Okay Roller Derby was pretty awesome. I didn't really "help" so much as "get in for free by standing around holding programs." I was pretty confused durring the first bout but by the 2nd I'd figured out the logic and by the third I was totally into it and screaming with the crowd whenever the... uh... girl with the star on her helmet pulled ahead ( Read more... )

It was all one bout, those were periods within the one bout. If you keep learning as much every bout, we'll have you officiating (the easy officiating, not the reffing) by the end of the season! :D I'm sad we lost to Ottawa, but still, losing 136-131 when we were 30 points down at one time was pretty freaking impressive.

The whole refereeing process seems amazingly complicated. I bet you could pay them off to fudge the results and no one would ever tell.

I think you would have won if it wasn't for that DDT girl. She was on fire.
