I read Boing Boing, and they introduced a really wacky guest blogger guy.

Eventually he got around to his take on atheism.

I think closeted atheists who participate in other religious activities are the future of atheism. They know that prayer feels good without a needing brain scientist to tell them, and they know you don't need God to want to feed

Future of atheism? Isn't that what slightly disgruntled children & spouses have been doing for decades?

There's a small, but growing community on Atheist Nexus for atheists and agnostics in Vermont. I don't know if you're familiar with Atheist Nexus, but I'm enjoying it. It's a new community, I think less than a year old.
