so i watched this movie recently, and i must admit that it wasn't a terribly bad little flick.  i thought the story was actually pretty decent, and it almost makes me want to read the book, despite the fact that it's kind of a modern day interpretation of pride and prejudice.  there's something about suburbanite dysfunction that i find fascinating.

He's going to be the new Freddy Kreuger in the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street, too!

It's not surprising that he got an Oscar nom for that role. He owns every scene he's in. And after seeing how well he plays a creepy child molester in that movie, I can't wait to see what he does with the Freddy Krueger character.
