Snuggie

Regarding the "snuggie" ("the blanket with sleeves") -- why don't people just put on some extra clothing? Wouldn't wearing the blanket frequently mean you just have to launder it again and again?

The commercials are here too. My husband and I just about died laughing because everyone looks like some kind of monk.

Assuming one is wearing clothes under it I don't see why one would have to launder it any more than a blanket one used for the same purpose.

I assumed that if one was wearing it they wouldn't take it off when they ate a snack or went into the kitchen to prepare food or whatever. A blanket would be easily shrugged off. Ah, I guess this could be too and I'd just be lazy about it!
