Summer's final fling

It's been a beautiful day here - warm, sunny and breezy.  Instead of spending the day stuck behind my computer I walked down to the seafront and found a bench perched on top of the ramparts overlooking the whole of Southsea and the Isle of Wight.  I wrote for a couple of hours, and probably achieved more than if I'd been sitting at my desk all day

Yay for a wonderful, productive day! It is currently raining here, and it has been gray for days.

There was no getting around the 5-year thing this morning. I'm glad I had such a lovely weekend, because NPR made me cry several times. And then something else I read on LJ did too. So that's crying three times before 11 a.m., it doesn't bode well.

Of course I cry at certain cat food commercials too, especially certain times of the month, but I found myself getting caught up today anyway even though it's not the right time of the month.
