Effect Detective
“Sherlock you-” John hissed. “You’re insane!”
Sherlock sighed, and waved at the curved mirror to their right.
John looked at it. He felt like he was blushing, though he couldn’t see anything under the thick paint.
“I can’t run in these shoes, so if that lion isn’t tame-”
“Quiet, Bubbles!”

It's inspired by the "that he is mad 'tis true" speech from Hamlet. Specifically, it illustrates "for to define true madness, what is't but to be in truth mad." And the title itself is a play on "to know the cause of this effect, or I should say the cause of this defect, for this effect defective comes by cause"
