Poor misunderstood Khan. It's about time someone wrote from his point-of-view. The man just wants to take pride in his work. Is that too much to ask?

A very shuddersome look into his mind. How many in RL seek their immortality in bloody infamy?

Khan is superhuman -- emphasis on the human!

Thank you for reviewing!

I'm old-school Trekkie. Ricardo Montalban was Khan. Period.

I accept them both, depending of which movie I'm watching. :-P

(I have to say, though, that I have a problem with Montalban!Khan when he starts going all Ahab/Satan in TWOK. I always feel like he didn't earn the right to do it. On the other hand, ever since I watched The Reichenbach Fall, I have wanted Cumberbatch to play Ahab when he gets older, and I would definitely have bought it if he had said "For hate's sake I spit my dying breath at thee." I'm pretty much crushed that he didn't.)

They're very different, but I hope this drabble works for either.

BC's a good actor. But he should NOT have been cast to play a man named Khan Noonian Singh, whose origin was in India. I can't separate my appreciation of Ben's acting ability with the racism involved in his casting - any more than I can "appreciate" the cinematography and amazing film-making techniques in Birth of a Nation.

Ricardo Montalban was far from Indian as well. You can't expect realism of any kind from Star Trek.
