A parent came into the school office and complained at the cost of a new bow string she had to buy for her child. Maybe it was that the student needed it immediately or the quality (I've no concept of either) and she bought it locally but the ones on Amazon are not that expensive.

Having looked at www.huthmakerviolins.com/ however, I can't imagine Sherlock leaving his bow behind if he took his violin anywhere. Serious musicians buy pricy stuff.

John is very smart not to become involved in this sibling problem.

A bow can be very expensive, but it is replaceable. Sherlock treats expensive things quite cavalierly. :P

John has survival instincts. :)
