A Metaphor

I have spent a year, at the bare minimum (but given some symptoms, possibly two or three) with Graves disease. It's annoying to sweat like a pig and be unable to wear long sleeves in the dead of winter. It's kind of nice to loose weight for no reason, but a little confusing. Giggles at the Shatner, alas all I can hear is "I have control!!!" from Cabin Pressure...

Sorry to hear about the Grave's disease, that can be a rough road. And yes, the medication will set things to rights, once the right dose is found.

Yikes, though... I'm so sorry you've had to live with that. Really, really rough stuff. So glad you have an explanation, now, and hope that things will turn around soon! I hope the methimazole proves effective quickly.
