It wouldn't be in the fan so I'm not sure how Alan would feel about it, but I know there are neighborhoods around Richmond where you can rent a house for less than $800 a month...and they aren't actually as terrifying as it seems like they would be.
Plus if I end up staying in Richmond (with a job that actually pays me enough to survive...) I volunteer to live with you! <3
I'm all about a house. I want to live somewhere where I can grill and plant a garden >_>
well, i think he can deal with 'not fan' as long as it's near stuff. he just misses not being able to walk to anything. i want a house! i went driving around today and found some nice areas in unexpected places. i would be up for that. :) i just don't want neighbors up or downstairs. bah
right now is the time to rent a house...they are *dirt* cheap, its rediculous. there's one that mike and i looked at on labernum (i think) in a beautiful neighborhood with other beautiful homes...for $900 a month. 2 friggin stories, 3 bedrooms, HUGE basement and HUGE yard.
yeah, alan an i really need to get our asses in gear and figure this all out. DX have to look around. what did you guys do? drive around or internet, newspaper? :)
well, i have to drive through northside to get to classic, and the way i drive there is this: go down boulevard, take a right at labernum, take a left onto brook road. then i follow brook rd. all the way down until i get to wilkinson.
that little strip of labernum has a few *amazing* houses for rent because nobody can afford to buy them. and it's super convenient to both brook rd. (which has everything you could want/need on it) and it's right there off of boulevard so you're convenient to the fan also. yesterday mike and i found a 4 bedroom, 2 story 1800 sq. foot house 2 houses down from the one i told you to go see (which is still available and i suggest you take a look at it...very big, 3 bedroom, and VERY cheap). we're looking at the 4 bedroom at 4:45. WE COULD BE NEIGHBORS OMG LETS DO IT!
haha, nice! you do take the long way to classic. ^_^ hmm...i'd have to talk to alan about that location, because he wants to be able to walk to stuff. but that area would be much closer to the highway and his current work. how much is 'cheap'? if it's just the two of us i think our limit is like 800-1000$ tops. when and if are you guys looking into moving? our leases are up july, so i want to move june-ish, so i'm not homeless again. bah! why it is all so complicated!? Y^Y
