Damn. I just took my first yoga class ever. I have no flexibility in my upper back, and no strength in my left leg. Still, I'm glad I did it. Now I just need to get a mat. The workout mats are *way* too short.
Just remember to breathe into whatever isn't bending/holding and go slow. You are not going to be a natural-born yogini...necessarily...if you've noticed dreams involving performing tapas for a dancing deity with a river coming out of his head, you may actually be a natural-born yogini.
