Gigantic Update Post Type-Thing

So, big update type stuff:

1. I have no health insurance.
2. I managed to fail my last required class for my major.
3. I am currently in Illinois.
4. We just found a place to live.
5. We will be leaving California in mid-May.

Yup, that's been my last month or so.

Well, I'm working with the professor on the failed class. He has served as the curriculum chair in the past and knows all the ins and outs and tricks of the trade, so hopefully that'll go well. I know I can take an equivalent class at UIUC, and I have something like 5 yrs to finish (though I'd *like* to finish inside a year!), so it's definitely not an impossible task.

We're really excited to be moving here... It's a pretty neat town! It took us about three and a half hours to get from Midway to our hotel, though about an hour of that was us getting lost. Apparently several of the car rental places keep thee cars on a separate site and you have to take a shuttle to get there. Made our carefully prepared directions kinda useless.

Really, we're not doing anything next week. I think we're gonna go grab a few beers with some math grads on Monday, but otherwise we're pretty available. I can certainly see if I can move our flight back a day, or we can drive up Friday and spend the night if you want!
