I miss folks. I miss gaming into the wee hours of the night, and meeting up at Java Jones.

I'm also not entirely sure I like my job. I just don't want to quit because I kinda bullied them into making me full time. Ah, well.

When I was back in Santa Barbara in October, I thought the same thing. Despite the fact that Eli and Greg are up here, there's still a definite sense of "that shall not come again."

What makes you think you don't like your job?

Yeah... I was just waxing nostalgic for a minute.

As for my job, well, I think it's partly office politics (present at every job, I know) and partly just that it's not a very good fit for me. I know I don't want to spend more than a few years doing this, and I knew that when I took the job. I just wish I had sucked up and taken the hours cut so I would have the freedom to find something else when I finish my bachelors degree. Plus, the pay and benefits aren't exactly spectacular.
