Kids, tattoos, and church

I've been noticing lately that a lot of people have been saying things like "you'll understand when you have kids of your own" or "just wait 'til you have kids." What I don't understand is why people have felt the need to say things like that to me. It's not like I'm going to be having any kids any time soon. In fact, for a long time I wasn't even

that's good, and inspirited by Scripture. I like it. Maybe, if not their names, the Lat-long thing Angie Jolie does, or their birthdates. I think it's a cute idea.

Me, personally, I say to you, "wait till you have kids" when I feel like you don't understand what I feel or am going through or how I look at a situation. I know you care, but you don't "get it". But if it bugs you, I can stop.

i love that butterfly! i feel the same way about tatoos...like i see other people with really cool meaningful ones but i don't know if i would ever want something on me permanently after seeing lots of skin at water country haha! i like the idea of having your kids names on your palm. <3 jo

The kids' names idea sounds very romantic to me. But I can't help but think how it hurts when I get a little garden plant poke in my palm - imagine a needle over and over!!!! WoW!

Also, I tend to come from the school that grew up with Leviticus 19:28 quoted frequently.

like most of those said, it (the verse) is in a context of "don't do things of other religions." Not just an 11th commandment "thou shalt not have a tattoo".
