I have a vacation of Biblical proportions (forty days precisely), a car, and a plan - Baja! (In some language this is perhaps a palindrome. Well, I for one have not only heard of Catriona, but also read it and (gasp!) liked it.

Have fun! This sounds great. Joneses' translation is a good one; I have Ford, too. And you can read it in the original, no doubt.

Oh, yes, certainly. Ahem. In fact I haven't tried to read a word of Welsh since old Shisha's class at Huji when we were both whippersnappers. Traumatized, I suppose.

Not by Welsh, I hope. I can loan you my Pwyll, if you are so inclined. Or something else out of my selection of little red books.

The more I read Welsh, the less I know it. A phenomenon which remains, I believe, underexplored in professional literature.

Your reading list is excellent! If you get to the Yeats, you might also like to pick up a copy of Japanese Tales, edited by Royall Tyler. I recall the two books containing some fascinatingly parallel stories.
