BIG GAY ROAD TRIP!

Day 2 continued in the theme of being Fabulous and Awesome. starlingthefool and i started the day off by crawling out of bed for free hotel breakfast, then (at least i) went back to bed for another hour's sleep; all that sleep deprivation certainly caught up ( Read more... )

I'm really jealous - I grew up in Michigan and some of my fondest memories are trips to the UP and watching the trees changes. Sounds like an amazing trip, hope it continues to be awesome.

It's fucking amazing up here. I'd only been to the UP once before, and that was for ten minutes (my sister and i went camping in Eagle River, Wis. several years ago, and went 'while we're here, let's run over there and say we were in the UP'). I'm sad we're leaving it today. As a native Hoosier, i have much lower expectations of the lower peninsula. (;
